Kompanija Izola (translated to English as Izola’s company/companionship), as its name says, is a group of local young men united by their passion for singing and hanging out. Their music journey began in 2016, and over time, they have evolved into an amazing vocal group. Under the leadership of Zoran Milenkovski, they work to preserve our intangible cultural heritage and enrich the cultural life of our municipality through their performances.  Their love for singing in Slovenian, Italian and local dialects is showcased in an extensive repertoire of songs, which they deliver to audiences with melodious voices, professional performances and joy. With their performance, every celebration or event gains a solemn touch.

Recently, they also started to write lyrics and composing melodies that express their love for the city they live in. In 2023, they released their first music video for the original song Bandima. They have gained significant attention for their performances across Slovenia and abroad, participating in various events and festivals. Unforgettable was their performance on a boat docked in Mandrač and the musical greeting to our town during the Fishermen’s festival. One of the most notable moments in Izola’s cultural history is no doubt their concert, which was live from the studio of Center of Culture, Sport and Events Izola.

With their work, creativity and dedication to the overall image off their performances, they bring joy to their audiences and significantly contribute to shaping the cultural identity of our town.
