In the Indian Himalayas, between India and Tibet, lies the Spiti Valley. Although Spiti Valley is deep in the Himalayas, it remains accessible by road even in winter. The mountains protect from heavy snowfall, and the pass leading to the valley is ˝only˝ about 3,800 m high. Other passes in the region can reach over 5,500 m!

Three weeks of traveling through India into the heart of the snowy Himalayas, beautiful Tibetan villages, the snow leopard, and ice climbing on frozen waterfalls.
