The Nuns Are Singing is a new musical theatre and dance production by the Fužine Activity Center (CAF) – a community and activity center for seniors – directed by Kristjan Hacin and Ana Urbančič.
The performance playfully reminds us that it’s never too late in life to start something new. The performers are all young retirees who began exploring acting, dancing, and singing only after retirement. They even created their own stage set and costumes, showing that older adults are full of knowledge, creativity, and experience that can continue to enrich society.
In this musical, members of the Fužine Activity Center showcase their acting, dancing, and singing talents, all tied together by the beloved music from the film Sister Act.
It’s never too late to create!

The Fužine Activity Center (CAF) is a hub for socializing and activities for older adults, offering a variety of programs that help maintain physical and mental well-being, enhance quality of life, and strengthen creative energy in the post-retirement years.
The Nuns Are Singing is already the third musical produced by their theatre group.
