In the summer of 2025, Izola will host a brand-new series of events called Arrigoni Nights – four laid-back evenings in the beautiful setting of the Arrigoni open-air cinema, dedicated mainly to the local community.

The events take place every Wednesday from July 30 to September 3, always from 8 PM to midnight, focusing on live music, entertainment, and friendly gatherings under the open sky. Each evening brings a different musical vibe – from acoustic duos to rock, stand-up comedy, and blues.

Špatula
We are a punk rock band from the Karst region, playing by the motto “Full throttle and high beams.” In autumn 2024 we released our debut album Stara bajta.

Majmunska posla
Chaos, chords, order, confusion, pop, ethno and punk – that’s Majmunska Posla. Since 2022, this quartet has been creating songs they enjoy, while kindly inviting the whole world to join them live for a second opinion. The “Majmuni” are known fans of old Balkan ballads and Ljubljana punk, folk tunes and German industrial – but they play pop.
On vocals you’ll hear Jan Majetič (guitar), Andraž Železnikar (synth), Rok Ljubič (bass) and Aljaž Kovač (drums).

Smetnaki
A music collective from Kranj and Tržič. They don’t stick to a genre – instead, they respond to life’s simple to downright bizarre situations. Their music, and especially their lyrics, are marked by humor – more or less hidden in several layers of irony. They create out of an organic need. They play because they love to make both themselves and the audience dance and sweat.
