Beauty and the Beast is a fairy tale for children of all ages that reminds us that appearances are far from everything. This truly magical story shows us just how important it is not to judge a book by its cover and that true love can break even the most powerful spell.

The performance lasts 40 minutes and is suitable for children aged 4 and above.

A word from the director:

This year’s fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, spoke to me for several reasons. The first and most important is undoubtedly the concept of beauty in today’s world. I believe it is extremely important to talk to younger audiences about what beauty truly is.

How can we find and recognise it within ourselves, without having to search for it on the outside? Today, in the time and world we live in, this is more difficult than ever before.

That is why it is all the more important and necessary to talk about it and encourage everyone to recognise the genuine beauty within themselves. So, dear children, always believe that each and every one of you is truly beautiful. Never forget it, and keep sharing the beauty you carry within you with the world around you, again and again.

The performance will take place on Saturday, 20 March 2027, at 5:00 PM at the Izola Cultural Centre.

The ticket price for the performance is €7.

The performance is part of the CHILDREN’S THEATRE SUBSCRIPTION SERIES, which will be available for purchase until the first performance (10 October 2026).
