Musicians from the Ansambel Prijatelji ensemble from Dramlje and the surrounding area always ensure a cheerful atmosphere. The musicians have been operating in an organized form for 11 years. They take part in meetings of singers and instrumentalists. In an expanded lineup, they perform at various personal celebrations, social gatherings, and weddings.

These young musicians have an exceptional ear and a strong sense for playing in the traditional “old style.” They grew up with folk music, and they learned tunes and playing techniques from older musicians. I had been planning to visit them for some time, but it was impossible to catch them at home—they were constantly busy with “gigs.” The current situation, however, also has its advantages. Both sides were happy about the recording: they were playing after a long time, and I was enjoying it.
