The 22nd edition of the traditional ethnological event Festival of Olives, Wine and Fish will take place in Izola on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

The venues will be Ljubljanska Street, Verdi Street, and Manzioli Square. In these areas, stands will be set up where local coastal winemakers and olive growers will present their products. Visitors will be able to taste and purchase wines, olive oils, and olive oil products.

In addition to winemakers and olive growers, the stands will also feature vendors offering cheese, homemade desserts, chocolate, spreads, pasta, truffles, pickled vegetables and fruits, honey, as well as handmade and artistic crafts.

There will also be a rich culinary offer featuring various fish dishes—brodetto, sardines, seafood pasta, and other delicacies from our region.

On Friday, June 5, 2026, at 8:00 PM, the winners of the Mayor’s Wine and Mayor’s Olive Oil competitions for 2026 will be announced at Manzioli Square.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, a children’s program will also take place on Ljubljanska Street.
Vanja Bolčič from Izola will be joining us and will ensure a fun and sweet afternoon for you and your little ones. Children will prepare desserts with her guidance.

The program will start at 6:00 PM.
