We would like to inform you that, due to the organization of the traditional public event Fishermen’s Festival<\/strong> in Izola on 21 and 22 August 2026<\/strong>, the organizer, Centre for Culture, Sports and Events Izola<\/strong>, in accordance with the permit issued by the Municipal Office for Economic Activities, Investments and Public Utilities of the Municipality of Izola<\/strong> for the temporary closure of municipal roads, will implement the following full road closures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase I<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday, 23 August 2026, at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Closure of Son\u010dno nabre\u017eje<\/strong>, Lonka car park<\/strong>, Veliki trg<\/strong>, Krpanova Street<\/strong>, and all streets intersecting the event area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Phase II<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    From Friday, 21 August 2026, at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday, 23 August 2026, at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Closure of the old town centre west of Gregor\u010di\u010deva Street<\/strong>, including Gregor\u010di\u010deva Street<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Phase III<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      On Friday, 21 August 2026, and Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. the following day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Closure of the unnamed road behind Ko\u0161aki<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Phase IV<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        On Friday, 21 August 2026, and Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. the following day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Full closure of the area north of Pre\u0161ernova Road<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Access will remain possible to the Argolina<\/strong> and Toma\u017ei\u010deva<\/strong> car parks via Morova Street<\/strong> and Dantejeva Street<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Should these car parks reach full capacity, the closure may be implemented earlier, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Phase V<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          On Friday, 21 August 2026, and Saturday, 22 August 2026, approximately from 9:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. the following day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Full closure of the area north of Pre\u0161ernova Road<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • This closure will take effect once the Argolina<\/strong> and Toma\u017ei\u010deva<\/strong> car parks have reached full capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            During the full road closures, no alternative routes will be available<\/strong>. Traffic throughout the old town of Izola and in the surrounding streets will be significantly affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            We kindly ask all suppliers requiring access to the event area during the festival to obtain a delivery permit<\/strong> in advance from the organizer, Centre for Culture, Sports and Events Izola<\/strong>, Ulica oktobrske revolucije 1, Izola, or by calling +386 70 894 788<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            We kindly ask all road users for their patience and cooperation, and to strictly follow the temporary traffic signage and the instructions of the competent traffic authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
