It is a member of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia \u2013 Association of Sports federations (OKS-Z\u0160Z). As a form of uniting sports clubs in the municipality od Izola, it was founded on January 10, 1968. Since its establishment, the Sports Association of Izola has been an equal partner among all sports stakeholders in the municipality.
